If you answered YES to these questions then this Notion page is for you! You can quickly keep track of all the birds you have seen and/or photographed in Southern Africa and have access to it when you are out in nature via your mobile phone in the Notion app.

All you need to do is check the tick box in the Added column when you see a bird and add a Location and Date and any Notes you want to keep about the sighting. If you still need to get a photo of a lifer you can check that box too. 

You can quickly check the bottom row beneath the table to see your total life list number which is a count of the boxes you have checked. 

Each bird has been assigned a number so you can sort the data by bird name or any other column and then still get back to the original order. 

Lifer Location is for where you have seen the bird, while Bird Location is a place where you can target to find a new bird. 

Feel free to customise the table for your own needs and add or remove columns or change bird details or add new birds as they are added to the Southern African list.

You can also add photos you have taken to the bird pages as each bird has it’s own page in Notion.
